Greater Noida: You would think that when there is slow moving traffic on the Yamuna Expressway, there has to be a mass congregation of people somewhere. It was just that, as people flocked the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) to watch the second edition of the Indian Grand Prix here Sunday.
The sheer distance of the track from the capital city had no bearing as a sizeable number of fans turned up for the races on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
However, a few kilometres along the road, like a spaceship having landed from planets afar, sits a splendid racing complex, that is home to the Indian GP.
With a full capacity crowd expected, mobile company Vodafone, one of the sponsors of Formula One, made sure that traffic moved smoothly on the DND flyover, thanks to exemption of toll tax.
Fans spared no effort to save every small memory of the event with a click of their camera. Cars were parked on the side of the road close to the circuit with people taking pictures of themselves and the circuit in the background.
